We made our annual pilgrimage to the
North Pole Nordstrom in downtown Seattle to visit Santa.
We've gone to the same location the last four years and have had the same Santa at each visit.
It's really special!
Court takes the pain out of this potentially painful tradition by getting in line just after 6 am. Santa's doors open at 9 am. He bundles up, reads the paper and has a couple of cups of coffee.
Meanwhile, the girls can sleep to a reasonable hour and I can run around getting their outfits and hair just so. At around 8:30, we head up to Nordstrom to join Court in line and we are in and out in less than an hour.
Here are a few of the pictures we snapped of Santa. I haven't scanned the professional photo yet, but when I do I will update this post.
Both girls loved Santa and both answered all his questions.
Yes, they were good girls.
Yes, they helped Mom and Dad.
Grace told Santa she wanted a "Happy Birthday Barbie" and Charlotte told Santa she wanted a baby.
The girls even got a picture with Mrs. Claus!
