Six Months Stats

Charlotte is a ham...

...mainly in the sense that she can't get enough attention.

From anyone.
She will smile at just about any person who pays her the slightest bit of attention to her.

Any ole attention will do. Even herself in the mirror at the doctor's office.
She is obviously new at this vaccination gig.

Anyway, at six months, she is 26 1/4" (68%) tall, weighs 15.15 lbs (48%) and has a head measuring 43 cm (66%).
All is well.
{Phew!}

C-Mobile

Charlotte officially crawled today. Now when I say officially, I mean she was up on all fours and linked two simultaneous movements where she coordinated a hand and leg moving forward. (While not on video, Court did get to witness it.)

I say officially because she has unofficially been crawling for about three weeks. She does it in such a way that you forget she's mobile and the next thing you know she is all the way across the room, under the dining room table and gunning for one of the dogs' tails... or crayons... or {GASP!} Grace's toys!!

Irish Baby

Heaven help me...

She's an angel!

Ohhhhh Charlotte Katherine....you are adorable!
(I like to say 'Charlotte Katherine' in an Irish accent -
imagine me channeling Gone With the Wind...you've seen the movie right?!
...Katie Scarlett O'Hara...
Why an Irish accent you ask?
I have no absolutely no idea. Just go with it.)

Spin Me Right Round

Her new favorite game!

I wish I had on video the puppy dog eyes she gives her Uncle when asking him to spin her. They are beyond irresistible. We are in big trouble when she starts asking for a pony!

Snacks and Struts

We are carrying on in the solid food department.

We added a high chair to the mix

and prunes!
Does this remind you of someone?

Probably should start working on sign language...

Looks like she's inventing her own sign for "I hate prunes!"

In other snack news?
Grace has discovered a dangerous snack.
(Dangerous for mommy that is!)
On a piece of bread, we spread half with peanut butter and half with nutella.
It tastes like a hazelnut peanut butter cup!
DELICIOUS!
As evidenced by her mustache!

Grace has obviously NOT gotten the memo regarding Operation Butterball.
Can someone say sabotage?

She HAS gotten the memo on taking fashion risks.
Here she is in Patagonia's 2011 puffy jacket, pink tutu and turquoise sweat pants.
A fashion risk if ever there was one.

I do think she pulls it all together with the sunglasses though, don't you?

Slight variation of the above outfit:
black and pink polka dot pants with one black shoe and one pink shoe.
Meanwhile, Charlotte is taking mental notes of how to one day embarrass her big sister.
